Sarai Gascón, Núria Marquès, Òscar Salguero, Toni Ponce and Marian Polo will be in Barcelona, next April. With great achievements, they are some of the best Paralympic swimmers of the world.
Glory was touched by some of the best Catalan swimmers in Ciudad de México during the World Para Swimming Championships, 2017, when both got a gold medal in 100 meters breaststroke event category SB8 (Salguero) and in the 100 meters breaststroke event category SB5 (Ponce). Also, Òscar Salguero got a superior achievement when he won the gold medal in the Paralympic Games, Rio 2016, in the same event.
Besides Gascón and Marquès, Òscar Salguero and Toni Ponce are synonymous of success. They will repeat in the International Trophy Adapted Swimming – Gran Premi Diputació de Barcelona, when some national Spanish records were beaten last year.
As them, Marian Polo (17 years old) is a young swimmer with a great present and a promising future. She got two medals in México, silver (100 m breaststroke) and bronze (50 m freestyle) and she beat a national record in last year International Trophy Adapted Swimming edition.
But Gran Premi Diputació de Barcelona is not only for local swimmers. The last places of the tournament are still opened to join us!
